Fraser Fir
Soft dark green needles with light blue/silver underside of branching, ½ to 1 inch long, good needle retention, and traditional Christmas tree scent. Medium strength branch support.
White Spruce
Short stiff green needles ½ to ¾ inches long, fair needle retention among spruce species, firm branch support.
Canaan Fir
Soft green needles 1 to 1 ½ inches long, good needle retention, traditional Christmas tree scent, medium strength branch support.
White Pine
Soft, green long needles 2 ½ to 4 inches long, excellent needle retention, less fragrant, soft branch support.
Blue Spruce
Sharp stiff needles 1 to 1 ½ inches long, vary in color from green to light blue, fair needle retention among spruce species, very strong branch support.
Scotch Pine
Stiff, dark green needles 1 inch long, excellent needle retention and firm branch support.
